Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Engineer Intern I. The Engineer Intern I will assist project managers with design calculations, cost estimates, and preparation of contract documents. They will also assist with field investigations, construction inspections, and project closeouts. While the role will be primarily located in Tulsa, OK, some work-from-home is acceptable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required
- Passed the fundamentals of engineering exam or will pass the exam within one year of hire
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CIV3D/AutoCad
- Working knowledge of the AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual, ODOT design standard & Brown book, and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices is desired
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
