TRE is currently seeking a WATER AND WASTEWATER DESIGN ENGINEER to be responsible for project management for design and permitting of water and wastewater plans and water, wastewater and drainage infrastructure for TRE's Austin, Texas Office. These projects may include design and specifications for treatment and permitting for water and wastewater systems, water distribution, and wastewater collection.
The responsibilities of this job will include, but not be limited to:
- Project management for water and wastewater plant/infrastructure design
- Management and scheduling of engineering staff for design production related to water/wastewater/drainage projects
- Firm-wide technical support for design related issues to ensure sizing, regulatory compliance, and constructability
- Assistance with preparation of project specifications for construction documents
- Additional experience with site development / land development preferred

REQUIREMENTS
Job requirements include:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 3 - 5+ years of experience with water/wastewater treatment and infrastructure design preferred
- Familiarity with construction contract documentation and administration
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to drive a pick-up truck
- Ability to walk and stand at construction site for extended periods of time (4 hrs+)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
