We are an MEP/FP Consulting Firm employing over 50 professionals specializing in building systems. Our team of experts is comprised of Professional Engineers, Designers, LEED™ Accredited Professionals, Energy Managers, CAD Operators and support staff skilled in all types of building projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
YOU CANNOT HAVE EXPERIENCE OUTSIDE OF THE United States< If you do you are immediately rejected.
• Design and analysis of sustainable building systems, Heating, Cooling, Ventilation within healthcare facilities, K-12/higher education and other buildings.
• Researches code issues and reviews drawings supplied by vendors, clients, architects and senior engineers.
• Revises or changes of drawings and specifications.
• Coordinating work with clients and other consultants as well as in-house staff from other disciplines.
• Engage with contractors for pre-construction and construction support activity.
• Documentation of systems design in software such as Autodesk, Microstation, Revit.
• Able to draft when necessary with speed and accuracy
• Engineering analysis work, including load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Occasional travel to client meetings and worksites
• May be required to work extended hours in order to meet client’s demands and project delivery target dates.
• Performs other duties as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Have or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have valid New York State Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
• Must possess strong analytical, persuasive, and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.
• Proficient in Revit and MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
