Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one US state.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks)
- Experience researching and applying U.S. building codes, NFPA codes, IBC, and local fire safety regulations.
- Experience with data centers, hospitals, or other complex facilities is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fire Protection System Design:
- Design fire protection systems, including sprinklers, standpipes, fire alarms, and smoke control systems. Perform hydraulic calculations, hazard analyses, and egress modeling.
- Code Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, IBC, and other applicable codes and regulations.
- Project Collaboration:
- Provide technical guidance and support to US and India Production teams throughout the design and construction phases. Review and coordinate fire protection designs with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Site support:
- Conduct site visits as needed to support design validation and construction administration.
- Business Development Augmentation:
- Support Business Development efforts through various activities including representing Pinnacle at industry events, client site visits, participating in media content, networking with target clients within your discipline.
