We are seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Designer to join our growing firm in our Charlotte, NC office. The ideal candidate will be capable of envisioning and developing design concepts to create technically sound and creative designs.
Responsibilities:
· Design projects and develop illustrative drawings, models, presentations, construction documents and project technical specifications.
· Develop landscape plans through schematic design, design development, construction documents, and specifications.
· Prepare detailed master planning documents and illustrative design plans.
· Research standards, codes, and permits for projects and developed plans accordingly.
· Complete project deliverables within scope, budget, and schedule.
· Coordinate and communicate effectively with Project Managers and other team members.
· Work with both public and private sectors on a diverse range of project types.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field from an accredited university.
· PLA license or ability to obtain license highly preferred but not required.
· Experience in entitlements, permitting, and construction documentation.
· Experience with master planned communities, public and private open space, resorts and hospitality, corporate office, mutli-family, mixed-use, and/or urban design a plus.
· Proficiency in Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, and Revit.
· CD & 3D modeling skills – Lumion experience a plus.
· 3-7+ years experience preferred.
