Summary:
Our team is looking for an experienced Licensed Professional Land Surveyor to lead and manage a variety of land surveying projects throughout New York. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing boundary surveys, managing multiple projects and survey teams, developing client relationships, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of survey deliverables. You will also collaborate with engineering and architectural teams while supporting business development initiatives.

What I'm looking for:
- Lead and oversee boundary, topographic, and property surveys
- Verify survey measurements, calculations, and legal descriptions for accuracy
- Manage multiple survey projects, schedules, budgets, and field personnel
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, clients, and project stakeholders
- Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and negotiate survey contracts
- Provide technical guidance on survey-related issues
- Review deeds, titles, and boundary evidence to establish legal property lines
- Support client relationship management and business development efforts
What's Required:
- Active New York Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
- 15+ years of land surveying experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS
- Strong understanding of boundary surveys, construction layout, and legal survey documentation
- Ability to read and interpret civil, architectural, and structural drawings
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of public and private utilities
- Ability to work independently and lead survey teams
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility for occasional overnight travel
