Our client is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager for Civil/Water Resources to join our growing team of engineers and scientists in St. Louis, Missouri. The candidate for this position must have 5+ years of experience in management, design, and permitting of Civil/Water Resources projects. The ideal candidate has experience for projects including pipe and stream channel conveyance, bank stabilization, parks/trail/greenway, grading, BMP design, levees, dams, and flood studies.
Responsibilities of this position will include:
- Manage and perform planning, design/analysis, permitting and construction administration of water resources projects for primarily federal, state, county and municipal agencies, utility companies, owners and engineering firms.
- Develop scopes, schedules and budgets for various water resources projects.
- Lead and communicate with project teams to execute project scope of work with high quality and meeting client expectations.
- Mentor and support the development of entry level engineers and scientists.
- Work with clients and stakeholders to integrate best practices into projects.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with a variety of stakeholders.
A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline from an accredited college/university is required. Must be a licensed Professional Engineer with the ability to obtain licensure in Missouri.
Technical proficiency in the use of CAD (ideally AutoCAD Civil 3D) and GIS software, with experience in the use of hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software. Familiarity with site survey requirements, floodplain analysis, and shop drawing review.
