Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Land Development Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of land development projects from concept through construction. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the growth and success of our firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate potential development opportunities.
  • Develop conceptual site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, and infrastructure designs.
  • Coordinate with architects, planners, developers, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and permit applications for land development projects.
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to design stormwater management systems.
  • Coordinate with utility companies to design and integrate water, sewer, and drainage infrastructure.
  • Provide construction oversight and support, including site inspections and contractor coordination.
  • Analyze traffic patterns and design transportation infrastructure to accommodate project needs.
  • Implement sustainable design principles and practices to enhance environmental performance.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in land development engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software.
  • Strong understanding of land development regulations and permitting processes.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
