We are seeking a Civil Project Manager to join our Civil Site Team within the Atlanta, GA office. The Project Manager will work as part of a team as well as independently on the production of final construction documents and specifications for a variety of civil site projects. The qualified candidate will work with a team of engineers, designers, and surveyors to ensure an efficient and high-quality design, client satisfaction, and successful project completion.
Duties:
- Manage civil site projects from concept through construction
- Manage client relationships during plan design, approval, and construction
- Preparation of proposals, project scopes and budgets
· Preparation of site plan and site grading documents for commercial, industrial, and residential developments using AutoCAD Civil3D software
· Development of Erosion Sediment Control plans for commercial, industrial, and residential projects
· Utility layout and design in AutoCAD Civil3D pipe networks for development projects
· Research municipal zoning and development code, design options and document findings
· Submit and process development plans through municipal approval procedures
· Prepare plan quantity estimates for client uses
- Prepare Specifications as required to support CD’s
- Quality Control review of development plans
- Construction Administration for submittals, RFI’s, and site issues as needed
· Preparation of letter reports and project correspondence
· Coordinate with other engineering disciplines
· Communicate with (internal & external) others clearly and professionally in both technical and non-technical terms.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
What You Bring:
· BSCE degree and GA PE license
· 8+ years land development experience.
· AUTOCAD Civil 3D, Hydroflow, Hydrographs, & HEC-RAS (preferred)
· Experience with the site development, hydrology, and stormwater management for commercial, healthcare, industrial, and residential projects
· Excellent communication skills
· General knowledge of fundamental engineering principles including but not limited to surveying, geometrics, hydraulics, grading, floodplain management and utility design.
