Position Responsibilities:
This position will involve all aspects of structural engineering building design. You will be responsible for:
- Analysis and design of building’s structural gravity and lateral systems in accordance with current code requirements and accepted engineering standards using both manual and computer methods.
- Interfacing and communicating with clients and other professionals, including coordination of drawings with architects and other consultants.
- Performing Construction Administration related duties such as site visits, review shop drawings, and respond to RFIs. Assists in the development of technical solutions for field issues.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural or Civil Engineering from ABET accredited University required
- Experience in the design of building structural systems.
- Thorough knowledge of structural engineering principles and methods required to plan, design, and detail the structural systems of buildings and other structures.
- Knowledge of local, state, and national building and material codes.
