Assists in development of project scopes, schedules, and budgets
Prepares technical reports, specifications, construction drawings, and environmental studies.
Prepares design plans, including preliminary, ROW and construction, utilizing design software.
Evaluates alternative designs.
Serves as technical liaison with clients.
Attends project meetings.
Adheres to company standards for quality assurance and quality control
Requirements
Education: BSCE from an ABET accredited engineering program
Years of Experience: 3-7 years
Registration: Tennessee PE or able to obtain within 1 year of employment
Knowledgeable in DOT standards; specifications; design methods and plan preparation
Experience with Tennessee DOT projects preferred; Florida and/or Indiana DOT projects a plus
Must be able to drive and possess a valid driver’s license
Must possess strong verbal and communication skills
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Required Skills: Microstation; Geopak or Open Roads Designer; Microsoft Office
