Summary: As a Engineer in Water Resources, you will be on a team of H&H professionals and designers in the analysis and design of complex water resources infrastructure such as countywide Master Drainage Plans, FEMA Letters of Map Change, Regional Detention Ponds, Natural Channel Design, Erosion and Sediment Control, Transportation Drainage, Levee Design, Reservoir Operations, and Pump Stations.
General Responsibilities:
- Applies knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas using advanced H&H modeling, techniques, theory, precepts and practices in a specialized engineering field and related sciences and disciplines.
- Plan, coordinate, design and direct projects with many complex features for both public works clients and private development.
- Ability to communicate and meet with clients.
- Ability to manage a group of professional engineers, EITs, and designers.
Education/Licenses:
- Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering is required.
- Registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer is preferred.
- CFM is preferred.
Required Experience:
- 4 years of specialized experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
