We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer at its Orlando-Maitland, FL location. Position is responsible for performing design tasks relating to commercial building HVAC design and construction, including HVAC cooling/heating load calculations, sizing of ductwork/piping, HVAC unit sizing and equipment selection, including DX and chilled water equipment, pumps, and cooling towers.
Requires BSME + 2-5 years experience relevant to commercial building design projects. All candidates will be expected to perform well in a team environment and provide effective written and verbal communication to other team members, and possess a good working knowledge of building modeling computer software, Revit and AutoCAD.
Candidate must be able to pass background checks, not limited to the Jessica Lunsford Act to be able to visit school sites and FBI for government buildings.
