Transportation Engineer/Project Manager
The candidate will manage various private and public transportation planning and design projects. Duties consist of taking transportation projects from entitlement through construction including project oversight, client interface, and management of deliverable schedules and budgets. The candidate will oversee, mentor, and train technical staff and assist in preparing and reviewing project deliverables.
Desired Experience/Skills:
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple projects to completion.
- Ability to plan, schedule, organize, and complete multiple projects within established deadlines and budgets.
- Ability to mentor and train staff members in conjunction with other project managers.
- Ability to coordinate directly with clients and lead project meetings.
- Ability to balance production and efficiency with quality and attention to detail.
- Comprehensive technical capabilities, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use computer software applications such as Bluebeam Revu, Excel, Word, OneNote, and MS Teams.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters)
- 4-8 years experience in the engineering field
- Washington State Professional License or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Project Management experience in transportation or civil engineering field
