Position Description
Design. Lead. Grow. Our client is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager ready to step into a leadership-track role with a clear path to advancement. Based in their Boise office, you'll collaborate with architecture teams across Boise, Santa Ana, and Norco, working on exciting projects in grocery retail, mixed-use, restaurants, general commercial, public works, and facility improvements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead overall design quality, project implementation, and delivery.
- Coordinate site planning, engineering, and interior design to execute architectural concepts.
- Define and guide project design intent from schematic design through construction administration.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, ADA requirements and standards for construction document production.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Direct project phases including setup, design development, construction documents, and problem-solving.
- Conduct and document site surveys; collect field data for accurate floor and ceiling plans, elevations, details, etc.
- Manage consultant coordination and day-to-day construction administration; maintain documentation, schedules, and communication.
- Prepare client presentations, technical details, and construction documents.
- Process submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
- Represent the company in high-visibility client interactions and marketing efforts for public works and K-12 projects.
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s in Architecture or related field.
- 8–10 years in architectural project management, 5+ years leading design teams.
- 4+ years drafting experience.
- Licensed Architect or ability to obtain licensure within one year.
- Strong AutoCAD skills required; Revit and 3D rendering preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; LEED accreditation a plus.
- Experience in Public Works marketing and projects.
- Project experience with Mixed Use, Grocery, Retail, Restaurants, General Commercial, Public Works, and facility remodels.
- Working knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and zoning.
- Proven leadership in managing teams and delivering multiple projects concurrently.
Physical & Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client/job sites or company offices.
- Occasionally lift plan sets (1–20 lbs).
- Willingness to travel occasionally with notice.
