Seeking a Electric Engineer with 5+ years of experience in the design and implementation of technology focused architectural/engineering building projects. Experience with all work phases including condition assessment and reporting, production of construction documents (drawings and specifications), and construction administration. Project types including Data Centers, Critical Infrastructure Buildings, Technology and Communication Facilities, E911 and other Emergency Management Facilities. Projects and clients are located throughout the country.
This position is open in our Midtown Manhattan office.
Experience Required:
- Electrical Engineer
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited University required
- Licensed P.E. preferred along with LEED Certification
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Recent experience with technically complex project types
- Ability to work effectively with architects, engineers, consultants, and clients
- Productively perform within a team environment on multiple design and construction A/E projects
- Attention to detail and adherence to project schedule and deadlines
- Strong understanding of all A/E disciplines, and project coordination
- Field Experience (understanding of construction principles, methods. and best practices)
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD MEP 3D, Navisworks, and Revit MEP to prepare construction documents and sketches in 3D environment,
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Bluebeam Revu, Procore, Prolog, etc.

Position role and Responsibilities:
- Assist with project design and development from concept through construction
- Attend and participate in design and construction meetings
- Prepare construction documents (drawings and specifications), addendum, bulletins, transmittals, etc.
- Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and other communications. Issue response to contractors
- Travel to project sites to conduct and collect data for evaluation, complete field surveys, construction observations, and punch list
- Familiar with International, National, State and Local Codes, Rules, and Regulations, NYC Mechanical, Building, Energy Conservation, and Fire Protection codes as well as NFPA, NEC, etc
- Conduct engineering calculations, load calculations, equipment selection and sizing, etc.
