Key Responsibilities:
· Design and Planning: Develop detailed design plans for infrastructure projects such as buildings and water supply systems, including calculations, utility design, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and completion of permit documentation, all under the guidance of the project manager.
· Time Management: Leverage strong time management and organizational skills to consistently meet expectations and deadlines.
· Site Assessments and Surveys: Conduct site assessments and surveys to collect data on land and environmental factors, assessing the project's impact on the surrounding environment and community.
· Team Coordination and Communication: Work closely with team members and project managers, ensuring clear communication of progress, issues, and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
· Deadline Management: Consistently meet deadlines, proactively notifying the project manager well in advance if any delays are anticipated due to unforeseen circumstances.
· Task Prioritization: Effectively prioritize project tasks to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines, maintaining an organized workflow.
· Team Support: Foster a team-first mentality by offering additional effort and support when needed, contributing to the team’s overall success.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
· Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred, not required).
· Goal-oriented, focused, and motivated.
· EIT credentials (FE exam) preferred but not required.
· Team coordination experience with leaders and peers.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design.
· Eagerness to learn and enhance technical skills.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (preferred) and ability to bend, lift, and twist.
