We are seeking an experienced Estimator with 1–5+ years of experience in Plumbing, HVAC, and Process Piping for institutional, laboratory, pharmaceutical, brewery, healthcare, and industrial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing detailed and competitive bids while working on a variety of exciting projects.
What You’ll Do
- Lead estimates for projects up to $1M; collaborate with a Senior Estimator on larger projects.
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Accurately calculate material, equipment, and labor quantities.
- Solicit subcontractor/vendor pricing, evaluate proposals, and prepare competitive bids.
- Manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
- Apply knowledge of construction field conditions, installation methods, and project schedules.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–5+ years of estimating experience in plumbing, HVAC, and process piping.
- Experience with institutional, healthcare, and industrial project types.
- Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and Bluebeam (preferred).
- Experience with Quickpen / Autobid software (preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
