Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for various building projects, ensuring seamless integration with other building services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Lead the design of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and fire alarm systems, using industry standards and codes.
- Coordination: Collaborate closely with architects, mechanical, plumbing, and structural engineers for integrated MEP designs.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, load calculations (using ETAP/SKM), and technical reports.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs meet the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and sustainability standards.
- Project Lifecycle: Support projects from conceptual design through construction administration, including submittal review, site visits, and resolving field issues.
- Software: Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and modeling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in MEP electrical design for building projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical analysis software (ETAP/SKM).
- Strong understanding of NEC, building codes, and sustainability principles.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- PE License or EIT certification (preferred).
