The Interior Designer will possess the skills to be an integral part of the interior design effort through all phases of a project. This position requires the candidate to be a leader within a team to develop solutions, create project designs, and participate in design charrettes. The Interior Designer will be responsible for tasks including programming, small to large-scale space planning, and must possess a working knowledge of interior construction detailing, interior specification coordination, be able to create conceptual designs and FF&E specifications. The ID will be responsible for preparing and leading presentations, design drawings, and managing construction drawings as well as coordination of all trades related to interior building design.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years professional experience
- Proficiency in Revit and Adobe suite software
- Excellent graphic presentation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of Building Codes
- Ability to multitask and self-manage time
- Professional degree in Interior Design
Strongly Preferred Requirements:
- Pursuit of NCIDQ and LEED accreditation
- Rendering experience with Enscape, Lumion or similar programs
- Professional experience in healthcare design
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
