What You'll Do
- Project team leadership and discipline management, completing projects on time within budget
- Hold responsibility for the preparation of deliverable documents including narratives, calculations, drawings and specifications
- Attend client meetings, lead the coordination effort between external and internal project teams
- Develop client relationships
- Independently evaluate and apply engineering judgment, techniques, and procedures to complete a project from concepts through construction
- Oversee engineering calculations and equipment selection, utilizing advanced understanding of the application of building codes and electrical industry standards
- Perform site visits and issues reports
- Serve as a technical resource for the company
- Assemble effective project teams
- Inspire and motivate staff
- Develop project workplans, tasks and assignments for the team
- Provide training, guidance and mentorship for staff
- Provide updates to master specifications and standards, and improve company processes
- Engineering application of distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Energy analysis using Easy Power
- Oversee the application of the project quality management plan (QMP)
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Relevant professional credential (i.e., PE)
- Minimum 5-7 years’ related work experience specific to the AEC/ Built environment industry
- Proficiency in electrical system distribution, lighting and power system design
- Thorough understanding of interdisciplinary coordination
- Advanced understanding of electrical engineering concepts, able to effectively communicate design options
- Able to assemble and run a team
- Strong delegation skills
- Attention to detail and advanced organizational skills
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Revit/AutoCAD and Easy Power
- This is a remote position based in the Atlanta, Georgia area
What We Offer
- Hiring Base Salary Range: $84,400-$124,000annual
- This position is eligible for straight time overtime pay
