As a member of the GRAEF Mechanical Team, your responsibilities may include:
- Participate in the design of HVAC and hydronic systems, as well as perform heating and cooling load calculations and energy modeling.
- Develop project drawings and fully modeled designs utilizing Autodesk Revit.
- Coordinate between multiple disciplines and attend regular meetings.
- Perform computer-aided drafting using Revit and design for various projects.
We are considering candidates who possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering.
- Registered as an EIT and if applicable working towards professional registration is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant design experience. Additional experience would be considered a plus.
- Experience in the design and specification of HVAC systems including central cooling plants, central heating plants, and high-capacity airside equipment.
- Experience working with HVAC load calculation and energy modeling software.
- Commissioning experience would be a plus.
- Proficiency in the following software is preferred: Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office products.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial.
